Born in 1978 in Belarus Victoria’s works have been exhibited at many prestigious art fairs in countries such as China, Switzerland, USA, The Netherlands, Belarus, UK and Belgium.
Victoria explains her artwork as follows: “One walks to his favourite spot on the lake, but it is covered with litter. We inhale pollution instead of a flower fragrance. My new work is an outlook at the apocalyptic transformation of the world which surrounds us; creation of ecological crashes of the planet; shout in the cold infinity of cosmos. It is an attempt to understand and help humans by influencing them through the language of art. Maybe it will prevent the desire to destruct and destroy life around us…”
The contemporary trend in her paintings is characterized by a figurative integration of abstract elements. Creatively mixing media from cement, resin, acrylic and epoxy – all on stretched canvas -, Victoria’s work is simultaneously sculptural and painting. Her series on the Earth is immediately familiar, provoking us to step closer and have a better look, then after a few moments the nuances of her art appear. Her training is evident in the accuracy of her geogrpahy and her skill in creating the textures, but her charisma can be felt by her depiction of the ocean and their various shades of colors. Victoria’s work is magnetic and is being consistently collected by art lovers.
